You want to stick what in my chest?

I have scheduled the surgery to have my intravenous catheter put in for chemotherapy on Friday next week (the 12th). This thingamajigger is put into my chest so that the chemo can be entered through a major blood vessel (this helps dilute the chemo more quickly than if it were administered through a vessel closer to the skin). This is the day after I meet with the oncologist, so I am hoping if all goes well, I will be able to start the treatment the following week.
